[ Company - About Us ]Nuclear Glory is a born and bred game company. Early years were occupied by attempting to make games with existing technology like many of our customers do today. Repeated frustration with the support provided to us, or lack thereof, led to patching other software via plugins & tools (most notably a collision plugin referred to as Nuclear Glory Collision). Initial success was eventually thwarted by the advent of similar free systems released and backed by companies such as Sony. This left a hodge-podge of mixed software rushed to market by third parties without a unified support structure. This was bad for the market as much as it was bad for us as we worked on building cutting edge games that remained compatible.
The next several years (2005-2010) were spent building game technology with prolific stability, speed, and compatibility. This included testing on real paid commercial projects to ensure the software could hold up under real world scenarios and three ground-up rewrites of the Nuclear Fusion engine. Many third party engines sprouted during this time. We largely ignored the excitement surrounding them knowing they were compromising underlying quality (compatibility & speed usually) to make a quick buck with visuals. Our core team agreed once they had a chance to play with the competitor tools and discover what was compromised. We remain true to self and continually aspire to improve overall quality (not only visuals) for our users. A blessing we appreciate while using our own tools.
